Shahanshah

Shahenshah Hazrat Shah Sufi Syed Ziaul Haq Maizbhandari

Shahanshah Hazrat Shah Sufi Syed Ziaul Haq Maizbhandari appears to be an unparallel of his time. Indeed, he has glorified the history of Sufism by his own virtues and attainment of unprecedented spiritual capabilities. He was born on 25th December,1928, corresponding to 10th Poush of 1335 Bengali Calendar Year. This is a red-letter day in the anecdotes of Maizbhandar Sharif. He is the son of Hazrat Delwar Hossain Maizbhandari, who is the grandson and heir of Hazrat Gausul Azam Maizbhandari Shah Sufi Moulana Syed Ahmed Ullah (Hazrat Kebla Kaba). His mother is Syeda Shajeda Khatun, who is the daughter of Hazrat Shah Sufi Moulana Syed Golamur Rahman (Baba Bhandari). In this way, Shahanshah Maizbhandari is connected with three great powerful spiritual personalities – Hazrat Kebla Kaba, Baba Bhandari and Hazrat Delwar Hossain Maizbhandari. As indicated earlier, Hazrat Delwar Hossain Maizbhandari was directly blessed by Hazrat Kebla Kaba, and Baba Bhandari and achieved a very high level spiritual attainment.
On the 7th day of his birth, Shahanshah was named as "Syed Ziaul Haq". His father was directed through a dream by Hazrat Kebla Kaba to keep this name. At the age of 21 days, Shahanshah Syed Ziaul Haq Maizbhandari became so ill that there was no sensation in his body. Physicians prescribed medicine but that did not work. Everyone in the family got very worried. At that time, his older grand mother Syeda Rabeya Khatoon came up and brought the baby to Hazrat Shah Sufi Moulana Syed Golamur Rahman (Baba Bhandari) and on her appeal for his grace towards the baby he extended his hand over the body of Shahanshah and asked to pour water on his (Baba Bhandari’s ) hand. Seven jars of water were poured. Thereafter, Baba Bhandari took 2 to 3 drops of water from his hand, and put it into the mouth of the Baby Shahanshah. The baby then at once got back into normalcy and opened his eyes. Through this event Baba Bhandari, indeed poured his spiritual power to Shahanshah.

Ochi-E-Gausul Azam

Hazrat Shah Sufi Syed Delwar Hossain Maizbhandari:

Hazrat Shah Sufi Syed Delwar Hossain Maizbhandari is popularly known as the lineal heir of Hazrat Gausul Azam Maizbhandari Hazrat Kebla Kaba (Ochi-E-Gausul Azam).

This great mystic leader expounded the Maizbhandari Philosophy through his inestimable writings. Hazrat Delwar Hossain was born on 27th February 1893, corresponding to 13th Falgoon of 1299 Bengali Calendar Year. He was the son of Hazrat Shah Sufi Syed Faizul Huq and grand son of Hazrat Gausul Azam Maizbhandari Hazrat Kebla Kaba. At the age of 9, Hazrat Delwar Hossain lost his father. Hazrat Kebla Kaba used to like him so much that he (Hazrat Kebla Kaba) affectionately used to call Hazrat Delwar Hossain as "Dela Myna". Within the context of Bengali culture, this implies that Hazrat Delwar Hossain was the dearest to Hazrat Kebla Kaba.
Upon completion of formal higher education in Islamic religion and philosophy, Hazrat Delwar Hossain Maizbhandari had made extensive studies on various subjects covering Quran, Hadith, Mysticism, History, Philosophy, and Logic. He had exemplary command on various languages, including, Bengali, Urdu, English, Arabic, and Persian. In essence, Hazrat Gausul Azam Maizbhandari is being considered as the vast ocean of knowledge and Hazrat Delwar Hossain, unmasked this knowledge and features of Maizbhandari teaching through his writings. He used to say’ " I am the fountain of the Ocean of compassion of Hazrat Gausul Azam Maizbhandari".

Baba Bhandari

Hazrat Shah Sufi Moulana Syed Golamur Rahman

Baba Bhandari as indicated earlier was installed by Hazrat Kebla Kaba himself in his own spiritual domain to carry on the torch of Maizbhandari Philosophy. This great saint had portrayed his life with the true spirit of the Islamic teachings and rare humanitarian virtues. Hazrat Shah Sufi Moulana Syed Golamur Rahman (Baba Bhandari) was born on 10th January 1865, corresponding to 27th Ashwin of 1270 Bengali Calendar Year. Since his childhood, he showed extra-ordinary behaviour, which used to attract people’s attention and had made him different from any other child. It should be mentioned that before the birth of Baba Bhandari, Hazrat Gausul Azam Maizbhandari Shah Sufi Moulana Syed Ahmed Ullah (Hazrat Kebla Kaba) once called the mother of Baba Bhandari as "the mother of Peerane-Peer" (the word "Peerane-Peer" connotes the meaning of "Saint of all saints").
With the birth of Baba Bhandari, the parent thanked Allah for this heavenly gift and prayed to Him for materialisation of Hazrat Kebla Kaba’s sacred saying. After seven days of his birth, Baba Bhandari was brought to Hazrat Kebla Kaba who took the new born baby in his hand and pronounced: "This boy is the rose of my garden. He has got the complexion and beautiful appearance of Hazrat Eusuf (AS). Look after him. I name him Golamur Rahman". Soon after the birth of Baba Bhandari, there were signs of tremendous improvement in his parent’s family and miraculously the family’s financial situation had improved. This was perhaps the first visible manifestation that the new born was truly blessed by the Almighty Allah and He Himself entrusted the responsibility of guiding the people in the path of welfare, as per the teachings of Quran and Sunnah.
Since his childhood, Baba Bhandari was highly particular with religious activities, including prayers, fasting, and reading Quran and Hadith. He was first given the Quranic lesson by his own uncle and spiritual guide - Hazrat Kebla Kaba. Baba Bhandari started his basic education in a local religious school and later continued his higher studies in the Chittagong Government Madrasha - a religious college in Chittagong City. Throughout his academic life, Baba Bhandari demonstrated his utmost brilliance and devoted himself in understanding the underpinnings of the holy Quran and Sunnah. Since his early childhood, he always preferred to be present in front of Hazrat Kebla Kaba. Sometimes Baba Bhandari used to stand on feet for the whole night in front of Hazrat. At the persuasion of his parent or relations, sometimes Baba Bhandari used to go back to his home but at the earliest possible opportunity he used to come back to his spiritual guide – Hazrat Kebla Kaba. Being in such close association with Hazrat Kebla Kaba, and through his robust devotion; Baba Bhandari attained the highest level of spiritual power.

Hazrat Kebla Kaba

Hazrat Gausul Azam Maizbhandari Shah Sufi Moulana Syed Ahmed Ullah

Hazrat Kebla Kaba was born on 15th January, 1826 that corresponds to 1st Magh of 1313 Bangla Calendar Year. A renowned religious scholar and spiritual leader Hazrat Mohiuddin Ibn Arabi predicted the birth of Hazrat Kebla Kaba even 586 years before his birth. He also predicted that the whole world would be enlightened by the knowledge and spiritual power of Hazrat Kebla Kaba. Soon after the birth of Hazrat Kebla Kaba, his father was directed by the Prophet (SM) to name his son as ‘Ahmed Ullah’. Upon completion of secondary education in Chittagong, Hazrat Kebla Kaba joined Calcutta Alia Madrasha in India for his higher studies in Islamic religion and philosophy. Throughout his academic life, Hazrat Kebla  Kaba demonstrated his utmost brilliance and unique ability, which could not be achieved without the highest level of spiritual competence bestowed by Allah himself. Upon completion of his studies, Hazrat Kebla Kaba took up the job of Jessore District Judge but a year later; he resigned at his own will. He then accepted a teaching position in a religious college in Calcutta. Along with this assignment, Hazrat Kebla Kaba engaged himself preaching the teachings of Islam among the people, and addressing public in religious gatherings. During his stay in Calcutta, Hazrat Kebla Kaba came with the close connection of two great religious scholars and high-powered spiritual personalities – Shah Sufi Hazrat Abu Shahama Muhammad Saleh Al-Quaderi Lahori and Kutubul Aktab Shah Sufi Hazrat Delwar Ali Pakbaz. Hazrat Kebla Kaba got blessings from these two towering personalities and broadened his spiritual domain for the well being of the whole world. Since then, his concentration in religious and spiritual activities has increased tremendously. Most of his time he devoted in the
meditation of Allah. After few years of staying in Calcutta, Hazrat Kebla Kaba came back home. At the age of 32, Hazrat got married, but even after his marriage, instead of devoting in worldly affairs, he concentrated more on Allah’s meditation. Through this meditation he used to grasp the mystery of Almighty’s creation and tried to understand the true sense and spirit of humanity.

Sufism & Maizbhandar Sharif

Sufism & Islam

Sufism or taṣawwuf (Arabic: تصوّف‎) is defined by its adherents as the inner, mystical dimension of Islam.[1][2][3] A practitioner of this tradition is generally known as a ṣūfī (صُوفِيّ). Another name for a Sufi is Dervish.
Classical Sufi scholars have defined Sufism as "a science whose objective is the reparation of the heart and turning it away from all else but God."[4] Alternatively, in the words of the Darqawi Sufi teacher Ahmad ibn Ajiba, "a science through which one can know how to travel into the presence of the Divine, purify one’s inner self from filth, and beautify it with a variety of praiseworthy traits."[5]
Classical Sufis were characterised by their attachment to dhikr (a practice of repeating the names of God) and asceticism. Sufism gained adherents among a number of Muslims as a reaction against the worldliness of the early Umayyad Caliphate (661-750 CE[6]). Sufis have spanned several continents and cultures over a millennium, at first expressed through Arabic, then through Persian, Turkish and a dozen other languages.[7] "Orders" (ṭuruq), which are either Sunnī or Shī‘ī or mixed[8] in doctrine, trace many of their original precepts from the Islamic Prophet Muhammad through his cousin ‘Alī, with the notable exception of the Naqshbandi who trace their origins through the first Caliph, Abu Bakr.[9] Other exclusive schools of Sufism describe themselves as distinctly Sufi.[10]

The maizbhandar Sharif is one of the Reknown Order of Sufism of Islam.. His Excelency Gausul Azam  Hadrat Syed Mohammed Ahmed Ullah  Maizbhandari the greatest person of Islam in Asian Continent. also in Bangladesh there are many sufi Personality.
